Shuttle Truck / Mafi Driver
Our Wellington branch is seeking experienced, motivated drivers for permanent work. Drivers will need flexibility to work a range of shifts up to 12 hours long covering day and night shifts in a 24/7 operation.
The primary task of this position is driving Mafi/Shuttle trucks carting logs on short haul trips around the port, including to the ship’s side when log vessels are loading.
Essential requirements for the position are:
Proven truck driving experience preferably with log cartage and/or within a port environment
Flexibility and reliability
Good communication skills
Time management skills and ability to work unsupervised
Ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to follow standard operating procedures
Adherence to all safety procedures
A careful and safe driver
Minimum Full Class 1 licence
