Plant Operator - Bulk Store

C3 started a new project recently to operate a bulk store at Mount Maunganui. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into a new operation and contribute to setting the standard.

We are looking for staff to work in a role that combines operating rubber tyre heavy pivot steer loading machinery to move bulk materials and at times, load trucks. The role is in a small team where everyone must muck in and cover all areas, which means that some duties will include general labour cleaning of the bulk store, and some basic office work.

A Class 2 license and W endorsement are preferred; however, we can work with the right candidate to assist you in gaining a Class 2 license and W endorsement. The role may suit someone who has some machinery operating experience and is looking to step up into heavy machinery operation.

This is a 7 day a week operation with a permanent full time as well as part time opportunity available. The shifts will primarily be day shifts, however there will be some night shifts when vessels are unloading.

Essential requirements for the position are;

• Minimum Full Class 1 licence
• Resilient and reliable

• Basic computer literacy with an ability to learn computer system
• Strong focus on the health & safety of you and your team
• Commitment to teamwork
• Good communication skills
• Machinery or plant operating experience
