Health & Safety Advisor
Employing over 1400 staff in 15 ports both here and in Australia, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand's port related cargo handling, adding value to our client's businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs.
We are seeking a Health & Safety practitioner to take a lead role in promoting Health & Safety in the branch by supporting the Auckland Branch Manager with Health & Safety functions including the monitoring of processes and standards and the delivery of the Health & Safety strategy.
Key aspects of this role will include ensuring all Health and Safety related records and technology platforms are accurately maintained to cover licensing, endorsement and training records. The successful candidate will also be required to assist with accident investigations, review standard operating procedures, ensure that risk documentation is accurate and conduct safety audits.
Other duties of the role will include ensuring all employees complete Health & Safety inductions and are issued with correct PPE gear.
The person we seek will be passionate about Health & Safety and have experience and preferably formal qualifications in this field. Strong organisation skills and proficiency with MS suite are required to manage the administrative component of this role as well as well developed communication skills.
